GODS PLANS ARE MARVELOUS

Born and brought up in a small village
in Rimoi a Asal ,sirmeba being from a
poor family struggled hard to meet
his families needs.
It was in the early 90s,he left one
morning for kessup to get some
vegetable famously known as
''Nderemiat'',Kessup stands at the
semi highlands of keiyo facing Tugen
hills.as he climbed the hills he was
preocupied with how he would have
been if he was given the chance to go
to school.
He stood at the peak if the hill and
cursed the day he was born.
Little did he know
that actualy the vegetable he was
going to pick would be a turn in his
life,has no one know what the future
awaits,the son of a woman went
ahead to his destination.
Kessup is approximately 20 kilmetres
from Rimoi valley leave alone the
huge escarp that one had to climb in
order to reach there.
The boy was barely 10 years old and a
fresh standard two drop out,he
dropped out of school due to the
harsh and severe droughts that o
see most of the Rimoi inhibitans go a
week without a meal save as for those
families who were able to provide for
themselves.
On arrival at kessup the son of a
woman was as weak as a feable
twig,he couldnt move any further but
thanks to a generous guy who bought
him a soda and a half a bread that he
took hurriedly.

THE PURPOSE OF MUTUTHO LAWS.

CHAPTER 4 of the Alchahol control Act sec 3 states objective and purpose of the Act
,the Act is to provide for the control of the
production, sale, and use of alcoholic
drinks, in order to –
(a) protect the health of the
individual in the light of the dangers
of excessive consumption of
alcoholic drinks;
(b) protect the consumers of
alcoholic drinks from misleading or
deceptive inducements and inform
them of the risks of excessive
consumption of alcoholic drinks;
(c) protect the health of persons
under the age of eighteen years by
preventing their access to alcoholic
drinks;
(d) inform and educate the public
on the harmful health, economic and
social consequences of the
consumption of alcoholic drinks;
(e) adopt and implement effective
measures to eliminate illicit trade in
alcohol including smuggling, illicit
manufacturing and counterfeiting;
(f) promote and provide for
treatment and rehabilitation
programmes for those addicted or
dependent on alcoholic drinks; and
(g) promote research and
dissemination of information on the
effects of alcoholic drink
consumption, in particular the health
risks that may aris therefrom.
On my point view these reasons are perfect and are vital in maintaining a healthy nation,and may be the reason the President assentet to it,
Yes drug abuse which also a menace to the youth is now dealt with squarely following naming of the drug barons in parliament,true we are moving towards the right direction.
In my opinion,the mututho laws over looked a very important aspect of alchohol-the ecnomic contribution.
Iam certain that the government has been reaping good from taxes imposed on such items.it is therefore a great significance to this country in the aspect of taxation,not excluding the health point of view.
I did witnessed a state of cohesion in the society and decline in criminal activities thanks to Mututho Laws ever since it was enacted which is good,but propaganda will never miss bieng that some section blames the law on political game,I thing politics has nothing to do with this Act lest you find a scapegoat in it.
Follow the Law to the later,although it was suspended for some time can you weigh what it has contributed to you as an individual and the country at large.

ITEN IS NOT WHAT CHESEREK WROTE ABOUT TODAY.

Edwin Cheserek is a confused and mislead individual who takes no time in what he writes,as my good friend Alex kipkosgei keles complains I concur with him especialy on the article he wrote today in the standard online.
I must admit that the writer poorly researched on his article and he is out of points regarding what Iten athletes are doing.he writes on "why Iten is liked by athletes" and yet he accuses athletes of immorality or better say spoiling school girls.
As I read the article I first tought the writer was up to sell Iten but Iam suprised that he was exposing the athletes on their sexual esacapeds.
I personaly come from iten and to tell him off Iten is a high altitude area where athletes train,he says that athletes spoil school girls and that is misleading,the truth is that the said girls are the ones who are up looking for men.
Iten is known for her beauty and magnificent view point and these among other things are what he should be writting about.

LAURENT GBAGBO VS RAILA ODINGA.

The Pm Hon Raila Odinga is back from futile Mission in the Ivory coast,I just tought of how the Pm turned-mediator could have gone there for a peaceful mission bearing in mind that he categoricaly stated that the incumbent president Laurent Gbagbo be forcefully evicted from office,the last time I checked is that his MASS ACTIONT slogan worked magic that finaly lead to a peaceful transition of 50-50.The Ivorians seem to be very clever although they have lost a number of their citizens,the only way he could have done is forcibly evict Gbagbo from office a thing our Pm failled in 2007,but if he went there the kenyan way,the Zimbabwe way today we will be applauding him for a successful mission of power sharing,or did he went there to applying double stanadards?Peace while plotting to Evictct him?
